Nelson Havi Denies Working with Tangatanga

The Kenyanpost news

LSK President Nelson Havi has dismissed claims that he is affiliated to the Ruto allied Tangatanga faction  as of late he has been closely associated with .This is after online rant by Homabay County women rep  Gladys Wanga . In an interview with Citizen tv on Tuesday night he said “if they arrest a Member of Parliament affiliated to Tangatanga, Kieleweke, or ODM, you will find Havi there and I do this not out of pay. I do this out of duty because the practice of law is a vocation,”

He said “The office I hold is a political office…I have political ambitions. I want to be President even in future but i do my job as a lawyer and as LSK President. "Democracy has unpredictable outcomes.. if you are a leader without enemies perhaps your impact is not being felt . I am not perfect , i will apologize when am wrong , i welcome criticism".

Havi also said they would continue with the momentum to ensure enacting of gender rules and also talked of asking Kenyan donors to consider not to disburse their money since we have a parliament that is unconstitutional and cant audit the funds . Parliament has become illegitimate for various reasons. One is by not passing the 2/3 gender rule. It is in itself not compliant with the rule & has failed to ensure that the President complies with the rule in appointments

He also went ahead to question the president on appointing the judges .“ You are not punishing Havi by not passing the judges. You are punishing the people… As LSK, we continue to demand that courts and registries open fully. The greater good of society are being felt through LSK under my leadership" Havi said
